Chief Marketing Officer
Severa Lynch joined United Urology in March 2021 as Vice President, Marketing and Communications and in 2023, she was promoted to the role of Chief Marketing Officer. She is responsible for the marketing and communications strategy, reputation management, internal and external communications, media relations, and all marketing functions essential for growth, profitability, and visibility for United Urology and its affiliate brands.
Severa is an accomplished healthcare marketing and communications professional who brings more than 17 years of high-level experience to United Urology. Prior to her current role, she was at Kaiser Permanente for 11 years, serving in several marketing capacities during her tenure including Senior Director of Marketing and Member Communications, where she led the development of insights-driven marketing communication strategies and programs for a wide array of strategic initiatives in the region. Severa also previously acted as Director of Health Plan Marketing for Evolent Health, an Affordable Care Act startup, where she created and executed B2B and B2C strategic plans for new products and health care services.
Severa attended Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She also holds a master’s degree in communications from Notre Dame University of Maryland in Baltimore. She is an active community volunteer donating time to several local causes, with emphasis on organizations that provide food, housing, and other essential social services to residents experiencing poverty, homelessness, and other vulnerable situations.
