Mitzi Barmatz, M.D.

President, Urological Associates of Southern Arizona

Dr. Barmatz serves as President of Urological Associates of Southern Arizona, a United Urology Group affiliate in Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Barmatz is board-certified with the American Board of Urology. She received her medical degree from the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Her Internship, as well as residency, was completed at the University of Arizona, where she received the George W. Drach Award for Compassion in Urologic patient care. In practice, her areas of specialty include Adult and Pediatric Urology, Pelvic floor Reconstructive Surgery, Female Incontinence Surgery, DaVinci Robotic Surgery, Interstim, and Male Slings for Incontinence.

She has held several positions at Northwest Medical Center throughout her career including Section Head-Department of Urology and Chief of Staff. She also served on the Board of Trustees. Dr. Barmatz is a member of the American Urological Association, Society of Women in Urology, Pima County Medical Society, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology.
