C. Cragin Anderson, M.D.

Cragin Anderson, M.D., serves as the Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers at Colorado Urology, a United Urology Group affiliate. He has been in private practice since 1997 and joined Alpine Urology, now Colorado Urology, in 2001.

Dr. Anderson’s clinical interests include no-scalpel vasectomy, men’s health and minimally invasive treatments of prostate enlargement, kidney stone treatment and prevention, female stress urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction including Peyronie’s disease as well as surgical and radiation treatment for prostate cancer. He is recognized as one of the top urologists in Colorado in testosterone replacement with implantable pellets. He was amongst the first in the state to treat Peyronie’s disease with Xiaflex injections, and amongst the first physicians in the area to incorporate Urolift procedures for prostate enlargement into his practice. He is also a designated GreenLight Center of Excellence, recognizing his expertise in the treatment of BPH/enlarged prostate.

Dr. Anderson received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans and completed his General Surgery Residency and Urology Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association, as well as local and regional urologic societies. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology.
