Bruce A. Kletscher, M.D.

Director, Advanced Prostate Cancer, Arizona Urology Specialists

Dr. Kletscher serves as the Director of Advanced Prostate Cancer at Arizona Urology Specialists, a United Urology Group affiliate. He has a special clinical interest in the use of lasers in urologic surgery and in prostate cancer treatment.

In practice, Dr. Kletscher has extensive expertise in kidney stone surgery as well as medical management of stone disease. He also treats men with BPH/enlarged prostate with minimally invasive therapies including UroLift and Rezum therapy. In addition to his role at Arizona Urology Specialists, he serves as the Medical Director of the Kidney Stone Treatment Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center as well as Chief of Urology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. Under his leadership, Banner’s urology program was recognized by U.S. News and World Report Magazine as one of the 50 best urology programs in the United States, the only urology program with such recognition in Arizona. Dr. Kletscher has also been named a Phoenix Magazine “Top Doctor” in 2003, 2005 – 2009, 2015, and 2019.

Dr. Kletscher received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and completed his urology residency and surgical internship at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minnesota.
